Although the crowd was greatly reduced there was still a great atmosphere in the eastern end of the stadium anyway. 23,404 attended the match but only a handful of away supporters.
Hertha started in quite a positive way and strung together some nice passes in the first half. Sadly they lacked finishing and the old defensive weaknesses resulted in Deniz Yimaz scoring for Paderborn. My heart sank.
The second half brought a timid Hertha lacking in confidence but after having just been brought on as a sub - Ronny scored on the 64th minute!
It looked like it was going to end in a draw when a highly suspect penalty was awarded against Hubnik and was put away by Alban Meha on the 86th minute. Things were not looking good. . . .
Then Sami Allagui scored a vital goal on the 88th minute - the crowd (including me) went bonkers!!
Hey it could have been better but, it could have been worse! Onwards and upwards Ha Ho He
