The future belongs to Berlin? Well, we’ll see about that but one thing that’s for sure is that the new Bundesliga season is well under way. After seven league games and one cup game in Rostock and two Europa Cup fixtures we have got off to a bit of a mixed start so far. There are some reasons to be optimistic but it wouldn’t be Hertha if there weren’t reasons for concern to counter them.
I have been a little unwell and got out of the habit of making posts to this blog but I’d have to be in a box not to go to watch Hertha at home so a few photos were still taken! I’ll try and be a bit more regular again now.
The highlights for me were the first half against Leverkusen and coming back from 2:0 down to get a point of Bayern. I really enjoyed all four of those goals!

There were only 28,000 fans there to support Hertha against Athletic Bilbao but they were the best 28,000 fans.

Thanks to the team after a truly remarkable come back from a 2:0 deficit against Bayern to take a 2:2 draw and a point.
