Arrived home for the second half just! The picture wasn't good but even so, how glad was I that I had!! What a goalfest this game turned out to be!
So many goals at the end I couldn't keep track of who scored which goal in the last two minutes!
1. Adrian Ramos 28 minutes (one goal from six shots)
2. Peter Niemeyer 34 minutes (one goal from two "shots")
3. Ronny 68 minutes (one goal from four shots)
4. Sami Allagui. 81 minutes (one goal from two shots)
5. Marcel Ndjeng. 89 minutes (one goal from five shots)
6. Ben Sahar. 90 minutes (a goal from just one shot!)
Ben Sahar, came on in the 76th minute and scored his first goal for Hertha after just 14 minutes!. Congratulations to Ben - the first of many I hope!
I'm going to record the highlights and watch this one again I think!
The 1:1 away draw by K'Lautern on Saturday was nice. That leaves Hertha just one point clear in second place to the dominant Braunschweig. With Hertha being five points behind they still have a lot of work to do but the gap is closing, albeit slightly.
Energie Cottbus kept things tight at the top of the table by a 2:0 win at home against Dynamo Dresden. This leaves them separated from K'lautern by goal difference alone on 25 points - just one behind Hertha.
Onwards and upwards - Ha Ho He Hertha BSC !
